Sessions & Recordings Settings

These are the settings available on the Sessions & Recordings Settings screen. For an overview of recording, playback, and reading your performance data, see Sessions & Recordings.

Tap the Sessions tab, then tap the red record button to start a new session. Tunable records your audio and pitch data at the same time. Tap the stop button when you are done. The session saves automatically.

Tap any session in the Sessions list to open it. From there you can:

  • Play back your recording with the audio playback controls
  • View your Practice Score and overall pitch accuracy statistics
  • See per-note statistics, including attack deviation, sustain deviation, and time-to-in-tune for each note you played

Tap the folder icon in the Sessions list to create folders. Organize sessions by piece, date, or any category that helps you track progress.

Use the search bar at the top of the Sessions list to find sessions by name.

You may apply reverb to your recording by enabling Add Reverb While Recording.

Level is a slider from 0% to 100% that controls how much reverb is added. Low values (around 20–30%) add a subtle sense of space. Higher values (70–100%) create a pronounced echo that sounds like a large concert hall.

Note: Level is only displayed when Add Reverb While Recording is enabled.

When enabled, each recording session will include a practice score and note statistics that may help you improve.
